This is a port and modification of Minsky’s Reed-Solomon Encoder/Decoder RSCODE module (found at http://rscode.sourceforge.net/ ) targeted for 8-bit embedded devices. RSCODE supports a variable message size up to 255 bytes, fixed at 8-bit symbols, and the ability to correct erasures as well as byte errors. RSCODE is licensed under the GPL for non-commercial use.
